Tips for a Safe & Great Experience
Before You Ride
- → Get a good night's sleep and stay hydrated
- → Avoid alcohol at least 24 hours before riding
- → Apply waterproof sunscreen generously
- → Do a final equipment check with our team
- → Let us know about any recent medications
While Riding
- → Always wear your PFD fastened and properly fitted
- → Maintain a safe distance from other watercraft
- → Start slowly and gradually increase speed
- → Stay alert and watch for hazards
- → Use the buddy system—ride with a partner when possible
If You Fall
- → Stay calm and assess your condition
- → Your PFD will keep you afloat
- → Swim back to the jet ski if possible
- → Signal for help if you need assistance
- → Never panic—we're always nearby to assist
After Your Ride
- → Fresh water rinse helps remove salt and lake debris
- → Check for any minor scrapes or injuries
- → Drink water to rehydrate after sun exposure

This safety card MUST be carried on board at all times while operating this rental vessel.
✅ PWC REQUIRED EQUIPMENT (WAC 352-60 / RCW 79A.60)
- • PFD — 1 per person (MUST WEAR always)
- • Type B-I Fire Extinguisher
- • Kill Switch Lanyard — WEAR ALWAYS

⚠️ KEY OPERATING RULES
- No wake within 300ft of shore (5mph max)
- No wake jumping or weaving (PWC)
- Min. operator age: 16 years
- Children 12 & under: PFD ALWAYS
- No alcohol/drugs — RCW 79A.60.040
- No PWC operation after sunset
- Return immediately in bad weather
- Reckless operation = criminal offense
- Do NOT exceed vessel capacity
- Stay 100ft from other vessels at speed

• To operate: You must be at least 16 years old. Minors (16–17) require a parent or guardian's signature.
• To be a passenger: Minimum age is 6 years (review capacity and comfort requirements).
• No boating license required: All renters must complete our safety briefing before riding.

• Regulation: Operate at slowest speed near shorelines, docks, and vessels.
• Legal penalties: Up to $500 fine for negligent operation.
• Rental penalties: Deposit forfeiture and financial responsibility for wake damage.
📑 Negligent vs. Reckless Operation Penalties
- • Negligent Operation (Civil Infraction): Disregards careful operation; up to $500 fine.
- • Reckless Operation (Misdemeanor): Willful disregard (e.g., wake jumping); up to 90 days jail + $1,000 fine.
- • Boating Under the Influence (Gross Misdemeanor): Drugs/alcohol; up to 364 days jail + $5,000 fine.
